SITE RULES - ALL MEMBERS PLEASE READ

Bird Friends number one priority is for the health and safety of birds. We are all here to learn, to teach and gain knowledge on a variety of bird related topics and issues. We can do this, still have fun, meet new friends with the same interests.

Bird Friends Rules:

1. Members must show tact and respect their fellow members.

2. Inflammatory behavior against a fellow member will NOT be tolerated.

3. Spamming is forbidden – IP logging will remain on at all times. Any attempt to Spam and you will be reported to your ISP.

4. Disagreements do happen – when they do, you are expected to maintain your dignity – keep personal feelings out of it. Remember, disagreements are on subject matter, not feelings. If you find you are having difficulty controlling your emotions, you will be requested to participate in mediation with the other party. We do not want to Ban members. – We will try our best to help resolve problems first.

5. Personal attacks will not be tolerated – This includes, but is not limited to - Racial, Gender, Ethnic, and Religious comments.

6. Posting of threads intentionally for the purpose of receiving negative responses that are inflammatory to other members, or, to target individuals - is cause for immediate action. If you feel that another member has targeted you, please contact a member of the Administration Team. Do not respond to these threads or posts.

7. Absolutely do not post the phone number, physical address, or email address of another member.

8. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted to become a member of Private Adult Groups.

9. Users who register must post within one week of registering or their membership will automatically be listed as inactive. (Management has no control over this action) User will need to contact Administration to be taken off the list.

10. Members must post on a somewhat regular basis. (at least a few times a week)

The Administration of Bird Friends has the right to Ban any member for breaking any of the above rules, or, for any reason deemed warranted by the Administration.
